Solar Partners Terms
Last updated October 25, 2026
These terms cover the Solar Partners program and its two ranks: Server Partner, for owners of Minecraft servers, and YouTuber / Media Partner, for content creators. They add to our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Applying
Anyone with a Solar account can apply. We review every application by hand. There's no number that guarantees a spot: for servers we look at activity, quality and staff; for creators, at the quality, consistency and originality of the content. In both cases we look at how it fits Minecraft and Solar and at your history with community rules. We may approve, reject, waitlist or ask you for more information. Server Partners must own or run the server they apply with.
We'll never ask for passwords to your social accounts or access to your server. A server is verified with a temporary code in its MOTD, which our system reads the same way the Minecraft server list does. A channel is verified by linking it through the platform's official login (when available) or by posting a temporary code we give you.
What we keep and what we show
Your application (contact email, links, numbers you declare and your answers) is only visible to the team members who review applications. Internal notes are never shown to you or anyone outside the team. If you're approved, your public page only shows what you choose: you can hide the whole page, your join date or your Minecraft name at any time from your partner panel.
We keep rejected and withdrawn applications for up to 12 months so we can see your history if you apply again, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your application earlier from Support.
Perks
Ranks, badges and exclusive cosmetics are tied to your account and checked by our servers. They're a license to use them while you're a member, not a purchase. Being a partner never gives you moderation, admin or developer permissions, or any access to other players' accounts.
Promo codes give the rewards the team sets up (for example coins or a cosmetic for new players). There are no automatic payments or commissions: anything involving money is agreed separately, in writing, with clear conditions.
Custom cosmetics
You can send a concept or a reference for a custom cosmetic. Nothing goes live without our technical review, optimization and a rights check. Don't send designs that use other people's brands, characters or art unless you own the rights. We may ask for changes, reject a design, or remove one later if it turns out to infringe someone else's rights.
Conduct
Be honest with your audience (no fake FPS numbers, fake player counts or misleading claims), follow the rules of the servers you play on and of the platforms you post on, and don't impersonate anyone. Server Partners keep their server within the Minecraft EULA and their own published rules. Don't share your promo code in ways that break platform rules or look like abuse.
Suspension and appeals
If you break these terms we may suspend your membership. A suspension turns off your rank, perks and codes, and your page stops being public. We'll tell you the reason. You can appeal by opening a ticket in Support; a different team member will review it. You can leave the program at any time.
Reporting fake profiles
If a partner page looks fake or impersonates someone, use the report button on that page. We review every report.
